Wolfgang Mueller is a Professor of History at the University of Vienna, a professorial lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy, a member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Co-Chair of the Austrian Ukrainian Historical Commission. He has been a visiting fellow at Stanford University and at the Russian Academy of Sciences. His research focus is the history of Russia, the USSR, Austria, and international relations.
