Dr. Oleksandra Romaniuk is a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Vienna and Principal Investigator of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)–funded project. She is the initiator of the Ukrainian–European Science Diplomacy Forum. Beyond her academic work, Dr. Romaniuk is actively engaged in science diplomacy and international academic cooperation, with a strong focus on displaced scholars, research mobility, and institutional bridge-building between Ukraine and the European research space. She has coordinated cross-border academic initiatives, contributed to policy-oriented dialogues on higher education and research resilience, and facilitated international networking platforms connecting universities, funding bodies, and scientific diaspora communities.
