Alexander Wojda is director of the Department for Scientific Cooperation and Intercultural Dialogue in the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. Since 1999, he has been working as a career diplomat for the Austrian Foreign Service with missions in The Hague (2000/2001), Geneva (2002-2006), Sofia (2007-2010), Athens (2014-2018) and Strasbourg (2018-2022). From 2011 to 2013, he headed the Task Force “Dialogue of Cultures” in the Austrian Foreign Ministry, a unit that is part of the department, which he currently heads. He holds a Doctorate in Austrian Law (University of Innsbruck, 1997) and a M.A. in International Relations (Coventry University, 1998).
